Measurable Impact
Multi-County Crime Stoppers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of a volunteer board of directors. Our mission is to assist local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies operating within Montgomery, Liberty, and San Jacinto counties, to gather intelligence about local felony crimes and locate wanted felony fugitives.
Multi-County Crime Stoppers (MCCS) operates a 24-hour tip line. It is answered 365 days a year, allowing citizens who wish to remain anonymous an opportunity to call in and leave information to assist local law enforcement agencies. Callers remain anonymous throughout the entire process and may be eligible for cash rewards up to $1,000.00. (if the information provided leads to an arrest in a felony crime). Once the tip information is received, it is directed to the appropriate investigating agency allowing that agency to follow through with a criminal investigation.
Our board of directors plans numerous projects in our counties to increase awareness and educate the public about our program. We need your help! We are asking you to become a sponsor. We have several levels of sponsorship available. By becoming a sponsor, you would be providing funds to cover operating expenses such as the cost of phone service, 24-hr answering service, office equipment, and materials for marketing and advertising our program. The three County Sheriff Departments and Independent School Districts provide the staff support and the board members are all volunteers, so donations are not used to cover salaries.
Multi-County Crime Stoppers is a valuable tool in helping law enforcement fight to keep our counties and our schools safe. We look forward to hearing from you.
